If you have chosen a specific work from my e-shop, carefully check its dimensions in the description - I always state the width first, and the second dimension is its height. Place a tape measure on your wall where you plan to hang the work, and you will have a better idea of how much space it will take up.
Follow the same procedure for work to order. If you plan to have a custom piece painted, have a reproduction of certain dimensions made, or enliven your space with an art print, place a tape measure on the wall where you plan to hang it and you will better decide which dimensions are suitable for your interior.
