ABOUT ELLE
I paint because I don't know how not to paint 😊I paint, even when I'm walking down the street and it runs somewhere in the background, it can't be stopped, I don't even try very hard.
Only exhaling and inhaling is more natural. It's a dialogue between me and the canvas, sometimes just its monologue. I like to listen to it.
WHAT am I creating?
I don't like surprises, in general, in life. That's probably why I love abstract art so much. It is unpredictable and balances my real life.
Give people, nature, life, anything time and space and it will evolve. Painting is an experimental part of me that I let fly.
So, go... It will work out somehow. It's always a big surprise.
WHO do I create for?
Over time, I discovered that my paintings, as something static, paradoxically radiate so much dynamism, vibration and movement that people should see it. My wish is to bring these paintings to the public.
Take from that energy what you need for yourself. Only you can know what it is when you look at the painting.
But that cannot be sought by force, you rarely choose the painting, it chooses you.

HOW do I create?
Mixed media techniques give me enough freedom to let the painting take on a life of its own. The well-thought-out steps and methods that I want to try in front of the canvas usually dissolve anyway and it is intuitively painted by itself.
Currently, I mostly use acrylic mixed with different media, which I combine with oil pastels. I certainly won't stop there, and the biggest inconvenience in practice is that I don't have time to implement many of my own ideas.
And so, I merge for long hours with the canvas, in the crazy silence of the deafening music, drop by drop of paint, with narrowed eyes and an open mind, slowly moving towards a result that surprises me every time.
That path is mostly spontaneous - and that's how Živelle came about. (“živel” in Slovak means element).
WHAT INSPIRES ME?
Sometimes banality, or things seemingly unrelated to my colorful world. Goods on the shelf, chalks on the sidewalk, old city architecture, black and white photos, a million things, feelings, situations, smells, even sounds.
I don't know and I don't want to forget the colors, textures I saw and the song I accidentally discovered. Why should I?
And so, the paintings are often the materialization of songs and lyrics that I listen to while painting.
And then there is the sea. I observe it, and at that time I do not hear or perceive the surroundings. I only absorb its shades of turquoise blue, so that my canvas will absorb it after some time.
